Secure email tips for assister

 MNsure requires that assisters use a secure email if they are sending an email to MNsure that contains personally identifiable information about a consumer. Here are a few reminders for assisters using about secure email: 

  • Once you set up a secure email with the ARC or Broker Line, that email does not expire and can be used again in the future.
  • When reusing secure emails, please make sure to update the subject line to the type of case you are submitting:
    • Example: Case Status Request
  • The only approved servers for secure emails are Microsoft and ZixCorp. If your organization does not use one of these serves, please contact the ARC or Broker Line to request a secure email.
