7. Eligibility Determination (Your Health Care Results)

After you submit your application, the eligibility results screen will appear. It will tell you if you qualify for financial assistance. An example of this screen is below.

• If you are eligible for a private health plan (also known as a qualified health plan), complete the enrollment process online. 
• If you are eligible for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare, wait for information from the Department of Human Services, your county, or tribal agency. 

This example eligibility screen shows the consumer qualifies for financial assistance to buy a health plan through MNsure with a premium tax credit amount of $179/month.
