MNsure Completes Contact Center Representative Surge

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Beginning February 26, 50 additional customer service representatives will join the MNsure Contact Center, bringing the total amount of new representatives added this month to 100. The surge of contact center representatives is coming at an important time, as Minnesotans seeking health insurance through MNsure have until March 31 to sign up.

"Call wait times at MNsure now average less than three minutes thanks to the 50 additional call center staff we hired earlier this month," said interim Chief Executive Officer Scott Leitz. "The final 50 call center staff starting tomorrow will help MNsure continue to provide better customer service to Minnesotans shopping for health insurance."

More than 100,000 Minnesotans have successfully enrolled in a health plan through MNsure, many for the first time ever. MNsure offers the lowest health insurance premiums in the country, with many eligible for additional cost savings through tax credits or subsidies.

The overflow of contact center staff is provided by APAC Customer Services, Inc., and will work out of the company's Mendota Heights location.

The MNsure Contact Center can be reached at 1-855-3-MNSURE (1-855-366-7873). Representatives are available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
