MNsure Open Enrollment begins Wednesday and Runs through January 14, 2018

ST. PAUL, Minn.—The 2018 open enrollment period is almost here. Minnesotans can log on to the MNsure website and enroll starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1.

For those who want coverage that begins January 1, 2018, they must enroll by December 20, 2017. Open enrollment runs until January 14, 2018.

At MNsure.org, you can compare plans from multiple companies side by side and estimate out-of-pocket costs. Current enrollees can /current-customers/renew-change/renew-private/plan-crosswalk.jspcheck to see if their 2017 plan will be available in 2018.

To help make enrolling online an easier process, follow these /new-customers/apply/index.jspguidelines and tips. Minnesotans needing help logging into their account can do so online, by either resetting their user name or resetting their password.

MNsure's Contact Center will expand its hours starting November 1:
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Free, local enrollment help is available. MNsure has a /help/find-assister/index.jspstatewide network of expert assisters who can help Minnesotans apply and enroll in person and over the phone. In addition, there are enrollment events in communities around the state.

The 2018 open enrollment period begins November 1, 2017, and ends on January 14, 2018. Ninety-six percent of Minnesotans have health coverage--the highest percentage in state history. In plan year 2017, more than 500,000 Minnesotans have found health coverage through MNsure. Currently, 65 percent of MNsure enrollees qualify for tax credits, with average savings for a household at over $7,000 per year. This year, an individual earning up to $48,240 a year, or a family of four earning up to $98,400 a year could qualify. More information can be found at MNsure.org.
