Secure email tips for assister

MNsure requires that assisters use a secure email if they are sending an email to MNsure that contains personally identifiable information about a consumer. Here are a few reminders for assisters using about secure email:

  • Once you set up a secure email with the ARC or Broker Service Line, that email does not expire and can be used again in the future.
  • When reusing secure emails, please make sure to update the subject line to the type of case you are submitting:
    • Example: Case Status Request
  • The only approved servers for secure emails are Microsoft and ZixCorp. If your organization does not use one of these serves, please contact the ARC or Broker Service Line to request a secure email.
