MNsure has completely revamped Core Curriculum and made updates to the Assister Role-Based Curriculum for open enrollment. Both of these curriculum are required training for newly certifying navigators and CACs. The new/updated curriculum will go live on Friday, September 8 and anyone who is in the middle of completing the courses at that time will need to start the curriculum over again.
Given these changes, the preferable path for new assisters going through the certification process at this time may be the following:
Submit a Background Study Consent Form immediately
Complete the 2017 Data Security and Privacy and the Compliance and Ethics courses immediately (these have already been updated for open enrollment)
Wait until September 8 to begin taking the new Core Curriculum and updated Assister Role-Based Curriculum
Any new assister currently in the process that wants to be certified under the old certification requirements must complete the Core Curriculum and the Assister Role-Based Curriculum by midnight on Thursday, September 7. The Data Security and Privacy and the Compliance and Ethics Courses can be taken at any time.
Navigators and CAC’s can email MNsure_MNsureTraining@state.mn.us or contact the ARC, if they experiencing any issues.
