Case Status Requests: Whether a case status request is received by the ARC through a phone call or via email, the ARC staff searches in three eligibility systems (METS, MMIS and MAXIS) for open and/or pending cases. The ARC staff does not give information about closed cases. Questions about closed cases must be directed to the servicing agency.
Manual Account Requests: The ARC has seen an increase in manual account creation requests for consumers that already have open cases who applied via a paper application. Creating a new account for a consumer with a paper application will not result in the paper application being connected with new account. Assisters should check for an active application before completing an account creation form for a consumer. If a consumer has an active application, it is not necessary to do an account creation form.
