Process Update: Non-English Verification Documents

Assisters submitting identity verification documents for an account request which are entirely in a language other than English can help MNsure process the request by providing an interpretation of the document’s content. Some agencies have found it helpful to either directly annotate the document or provide guidance along with the document.

To process an account request, MNsure needs to be able to identify and understand the following fields on a verification document:

  • Type of Document
  • Name of Consumer
  • Date of Birth
  • Expiration Date (may not exist on all documents)

Providing interpretation of verification documents will allow MNsure to process account request more efficiently without delay.
