ST. PAUL, Minn.-MNsure has extended the deadline for applicants to two Advisory Committees to the Board to provide guidance, advice and recommendations as it carries out its mission. Two committees have been established: the Health Industry Advisory Committee and the Consumer and Small Employer Advisory Committee. Applications are due by 3:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2013.

The Consumer and Small Employer Advisory Committee will consist of no more than 17 members and can include, but is not limited to, individuals and employers that may purchase health plans through MNsure, individuals who may enroll in a public program or organizations that may help facilitate enrollment through MNsure.

The Health Industry Advisory Committee will consist of no more than 17 members and can include, but is not limited to, insurance agents and brokers, health insurers, hospitals, clinics, doctors and other health care industry experts.
