When contacting the ARC regarding a case, representatives must confirm three pieces of consumer personal identifying information (PIIs) before they can proceed. These identifiers generally consist of the consumer's name, date of birth, address, phone number, email or the last four digits of their Social Security Number. If the address on the consumer application includes an apartment number, that detail must be confirmed for it to qualify as one PII. Additionally, if there are two last names recorded, both must be verified for the name to be considered a single PII.
