When providing client PII during calls to the ARC, many assisters use name, date of birth and the last 4 of the client’s Social Security number (SSN) as verifying identifiers. Since the ARC does not retain the last 4 of the client’s SSN and requires 3 PII, during your call to the ARC, staff members will be asking for the client’s phone number and/or address to complete their contact record.
