If a consumer has multiple changes to report, refer to this section to determine the method of reporting each consumer change. If one or more of the changes must be reported by phone, then all changes should be reported by phone.
If you determine that additional details are needed to make the changes, collect the information and then report all changes at once. It is important that all changes be reported at the same time.
Since each change can affect consumer eligibility, reporting multiple changes using different methods may mean that changes are processed separately thus, triggering multiple eligibility determinations and creating confusion for the assister as well as the consumer.
