Whenever possible, it is important to determine if a consumer has an existing MNsure account before creating a new one. It is a great idea for assisters to have consumers call the MNsure Contact Center prior to meeting with them to see if a user ID can be found for them. Remind consumers to think about older addresses, phone numbers and email addresses that they may have used to create an account. Multiple accounts can create unnecessary technical issues and making sure the consumer has the correct user ID is a great step to take now to prepare for 2023 open enrollment!
