2027 Assister Recertification

7/24/2026 1:39:37 PM

The 2027 Open Enrollment season is approaching quickly! Before it begins, every certified navigator and CAC will need to complete a new course requirement…Introduction to MN-EES! This is the first of our e-learnings that will be updated for the launch of MNsure’s new system. Even if you were recently certified, this course will be required. We anticipate the new required training will be available in early September.

Please note: If you have not completed the Data Security, Accessibility, Compliance and Ethics 26-27 - in preparation of the MN-EES launch or after, you will also need to successfully complete this course as well! However, if you have already taken the 26-27 compliance course, you’re in luck—you won’t need to complete it again.

At this time, agency administrators should check staff agency rosters in AMP (Agency Management Program) for accuracy to ensure a smooth recertification process. The following information should be accurate and up to date:

  • Agency roster: Change staff who are no longer active to inactive.
  • Individual staff: Contact information, especially email addresses, must be correct.
  • Directory information: Are the languages spoken and counties served up to date? Remember, only list counties where a consumer can meet with you in-person. If a consumer chooses to search the assister directory by location, we assume they are looking to find a navigator with a location near where they live.

Information on how to update agency information in AMP can be found in the /assister-central/navigator-one-stop/essential-tools/index.jspEssential Tools section of Navigator One Stop.
