From beginning to end, it takes approximately 7-10 business days for an account to be created. MNsure submits requests to MNIT twice weekly, and once received by MNIT, it usually takes two to three business days for an account to be created and the emails with the username and password generated. The 7-10 business day timeframe allows for MNsure and MNIT processing.

As a reminder, please do not resend manual account creation forms that have been previously sent or submit the same manual account creation request via multiple paths, for example fax and email. Doing this will result in processing delays and the creation of multiple accounts for the same consumer which will cause confusion for the consumer and assister.
