During the February monthly webinar, the MN Department of Revenue highlighted a new refundable Child Tax Credit available to eligible Minnesotans. Consumers may qualify for $1,750 per child under the age of 18, with no cap on the number of children. 

Our assisters can help promote awareness among populations who could benefit from this tax credit, even if they are not required to file a Minnesota income tax return. We encourage organizations to use the Working Family Credit and Child Tax Credit Promotional Materials found on the Department of Revenue website to promote these important tax credits. This website also offers additional information about these tax credits. Remember, some individuals qualify for free tax return preparation to help them access this tax credit!
