The final cohort of the public program unwinding process was June 2024. May 31 was their last day of public program coverage if they lost eligibility.

• July 30, 2024, is their last day to select a QHP and receive the retro coverage option back to June 1.
• August 29, 2024, is their last day to select a QHP and receive coverage effective for September 1.

These consumers also qualify for an additional month of special enrollment period coverage under MNsure’s “Loss of Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare Extension SEP.”

• August 31, 2024, is their last day to select a QHP and receive coverage effective for September 1.
• September 30, 2024, is their last day to select a QHP and receive coverage effective for October 1.
