In June, MNsure mailed a verification notice to households that informed qualified health plan (QHP) enrollees that they needed to submit their citizenship, lawful presence, and/or incarceration status verification by July 23, 2024, or their last day of coverage will be July 31, 2024. Any households who did not respond to this notice with the appropriate verifications are being termed this week. If you are working with a consumer whose coverage was termed for this reason, that consumer can still submit the verification documents by September 30, 2024, and have their coverage reinstated. MNsure will be reaching out to assisters who have an association with a household whose coverage is being termed with specific steps they can take to help their consumer reinstate their coverage.
