After creating an online account for a consumer via ACRe, be sure to change the email address to the consumer's email. If you leave your assister email address, it will become part of the personal identifiers that a consumer may have to verify to regain access to their online account. Consumers can also perform self-service password resets if their personal email address is in their account.
