New Applications
It is important to check to make sure your consumer does not have an open application prior to creating an account, requesting an account, or doing an application. Many of the ARC calls revolve around duplicate applications from consumers with multiple accounts.
Open QHP Applications
If your consumer has an open QHP application, the next step will be to report changes to MNsure. If the consumer submits a paper application to the county in this situation, it will not be processed. MNsure does not take changes via paper application. The consumer must call in and attest to the changes.
Calling the ARC
Remember the ARC is for assisters. Please do not give our number out to consumers or call and hand the phone to the consumer. The assister should be on the phone call with the consumer, directing the call.
