Navigator Tip of the Week: Consumer Online Accounts

A consumer could have been included in an online application, but the account used for the family's submission might actually belong to another family member. The only way for the ARC to check if a specific consumer has their own online account is to call in with the consumer. The consumer may also contact the MNsure Contact Center directly. 

If a consumer used their account to apply for a family and then was removed from the active case, they will not be able to re-apply with their original online account because the case is still open. 

If you call the ARC without the consumer present, the representative can only advise on what kind of application was filled out, online or paper. They will not be able to tell you which family member had the online account.
