When reporting changes for multiple people in a household, they must be reported separately by person and by type of change

Address all the income on the application (don’t report only new income). It may be necessary to add an end-date for wages sources that are outdated. 

At this time, all submitted income changes must include both 2024 PAI and 2025 PAI. Information should be added in the comments section. The reported projected annual income (PAI) must make sense. If it does not, an explanation for the discrepancy should be added in the comments section.

The following changes may be reported online:

• Income
• Employer Sponsored Insurance (ESI) – If reporting a loss of ESI in advance of the date of loss.
• Tax filing status.
• Adding a household member who is not already on the application.

MNsure cannot accept a life event change (LEC) with additional changes reported in the comments section. The appropriate form must be completed for each type of change.

If verifications are requested, documents submitted must support the change that is being reported.
