When assisting consumers in creating online accounts, it is important that assisters not to use their own personal identifying information. If an assister utilizes their email address to send account credentials during the account creation process via the eForm (ACRe), it is essential to update the account email to the consumer's address when their application is completed. Retaining the assister's email, phone number or any other identifying information on the consumer's account could hinder the consumer's ability to verify and access their account in the future.
