MNsure completed updating eligibility for 2026 for all consumers with 2025 qualified health plan (QHP) eligibility. Pre-populated annual renewal notices (PARNs) are available in consumer accounts and were also mailed to consumers earlier this month.

Eligible individuals who are currently enrolled in a plan are being automatically renewed into the same or a similar plan for 2026. MNsure’s enrollment notice is available in consumer accounts through “My Inbox” and viewable for assisters through their assister portal accounts. The enrollment notice includes plan enrollment information, the premium amount after APTC is applied and will not be mailed.

A Manual Need to Renew (MNTR) notice has been mailed to households with members who may qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare based on updated information for 2026. It is important for consumers to carefully review the information included in the notice, complete the accompanying form, sign it and return it to the address on the notice within 30 days. Failure to respond will result in the loss of QHP eligibility for those listed in the notice. Consumers can conveniently upload documents electronically, with instructions provided in the notice. Additionally, MNsure is securely emailing navigators and brokers who have an assister portal association with a consumer receiving this notice, enabling them to assist impacted consumers with maintaining coverage.
