ST. PAUL, Minn.-As the January 15 commercial coverage enrollment deadline closes in, MNsure offered five things to know about enrolling through the state health insurance exchange.
- January 15 at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline to enroll into commercial coverage that begins February 1.
- The open enrollment period continues through February 15, but waiting until after January 15 to enroll means coverage will not begin until March 1.
- Minnesotans eligible for MinnesotaCare or Medical Assistance can enroll year-round.
- The MNsure Contact Center will be open extended hours on January 15, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. The Contact Center can be reached at 1-855-366-7873.
