2024-25 Income Level Guidelines for Financial Help

The table below shows what financial help you may qualify for depending on household size and income.
- The income limits for Medical Assistance are for coverage from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
- The income limits for MinnesotaCare are for 2025 coverage.
- Premium tax credits for 2025 private health plans through MNsure can be estimated using our estimator tool. Under the extended tax credits, any household with income above 200% of the federal poverty guidelines may potentially qualify for a tax credit, but there is an income amount at which the tax credit will be $0.

2025 Cost-Sharing Reductions
This benefit provided by the federal government reduces the amount you pay at the time of medical care (commonly called out-of-pocket costs). Reductions are included in specific silver level plans and are only available to applicants that are determined eligible.

American Indians or Alaska Natives who are members of a federally recognized tribe receive cost-sharing reductions using different income guidelines. Their cost-sharing reductions are available in all metal levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
