The table shows the income limits by household size for Medical Assistance coverage July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, and the limits for MinnesotaCare in 2022. Premium tax credits for 2022 private health plans through MNsure can be estimated using our estimator tool.

2022 Cost-Sharing Reductions

This benefit provided by the federal government reduces the amount you pay at the time of medical care (commonly called out-of-pocket costs). Reductions are included in specific silver level plans and are only available to applicants that are determined eligible.

American Indians or Alaska Natives who are members of a federally recognized tribe receive cost-sharing reductions using different income guidelines. Their cost-sharing reductions are available in all metal levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
