You can change your application any time of year by calling our Contact Center at 651-539-2099 or 855-366-7873. A MNsure representative will close your current application and give you instructions on what to do next.
IMPORTANT: Changing applications outside of open enrollment does not make you eligible to newly enroll in (if you are not enrolled) or make changes to a private health insurance plan. You can enroll in or make changes to private coverage outside of open enrollment only if you have a life event—like moving, getting married, or having a baby—that qualifies you for a special enrollment period.

This includes an increase in the amount of tax credits MNsure enrollees receive to help them pay for their premiums and an expansion of tax credits to middle-income Minnesotans who previously earned too much money to qualify.
