Shop and Compare

The annual open enrollment period for enrolling in 2017 private health coverage ended on January 31. However, you may still qualify to enroll a private health plan if you qualify for a special enrollment period. Those who qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare can enroll year-round.

Shop Medical Plans

Find every medical plan available to you on MNsure and see comparisons on total estimated cost—not just premiums or deductibles. You can also get an idea of whether you qualify to get financial help.

Shop Dental Plans

Compare up to three dental plans at a time to see your options before applying. (You will not see potential financial assistance subtracted from these plan costs until you create an account and apply.)

About the Plans

Financial Help

Most Minnesotans qualify for financial help. You may qualify for tax credits, a cost-sharing reduction, or for no-cost or low-cost coverage under Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare.

Premium Rebates

Those who buy health insurance on the individual market and do not currently receive advanced premium tax credits qualify for a premium rebate.

How to Choose the Right Plan

Picking the plan with the lowest premium may not be the best choice. Depending on your health care needs, it may end up costing you more. Things to consider as you shop for a plan.
