Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare

Health plans through MNsure – with and without financial help

Coverage: Free- or low-cost health insurance

Coverage: Qualified health plans from insurance companies you know. You may be eligible for financial help to lower your health care costs.

For: Eligible individuals and families with low incomes, including children and pregnant people and people with disabilities.

For: Eligible individuals and families who need health insurance and don’t qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare.

Enrollment: You can enroll any time of year.

Enrollment: You can sign up or change plans during open enrollment. You can enroll or make changes at other times if you’re eligible for a special enrollment period.
