Change Plan

Changes to private coverage can only be made during the annual open enrollment period unless you qualify for a special enrollment period (SEP). Open enrollment for 2026 begins November 1.

Get ready for open enrollment by comparing 2026 plans now. Even if you like your current plan, it makes sense for you to see what’s new next year by comparing plans and getting estimates on premium costs, deductibles, and more.

If you want to change your plan: check back here on or after November 1 for instructions on how to change your plan during open enrollment.

Important: If you are currently enrolled in a private plan through MNsure, you may be automatically renewed in that plan for next year. Check your MNsure account for important information on actions you may need to take.

Keep Your Account Updated

Report income and other household changes as soon as possible. You may be eligible for low- or no-cost coverage, or increased financial help toward paying for your current plan.
