If the consumer is applying for the first time, ask them to review some basic information on MNsure.org:
Have ready for the consumer any MNsure fact sheets and other marketing materials that may be needed for the meeting.
Have the consumer gather this information and bring it with them to your first meeting. Emphasize that not having everything on the list may mean they will have to come back another time.
The more time you spend learning about a consumer's situation, the better you can ensure you are the right resource, and that a consumer will receive the help they need.
