Outreach Webinar June 2013

6/6/2013 10:14:43 AM

Minnesota's new marketplace for health insurance, MNsure, launches in October, just a few short months away. To build public awareness of this new option where individuals and small businesses can compare, choose and get affordable, quality health insurance, MNsure is planning a comprehensive outreach and marketing campaign.

We know that an effective outreach plan calls for a partnership network of community and business organizations that reaches to all corners of the state. As we build MNsure's network of outreach ambassadors, we want to share with you the direction the outreach plan is taking, and gather your ideas and suggestions to make it even more effective to engage the populations you serve.

Join us on Wednesday, June 12, 1-2 p.m. for an online webinar to share and discuss outreach, communications and marketing plans to launch the opening of MNsure. The webinar will help potential outreach community partners learn more about the role they each can play individually and collectively to increase marketplace awareness of MNsure for the groups they serve.

  • How MNsure hopes to partner with grassroots groups, community-based programs, schools, churches, local governments, local businesses and other institutions to
    • increase communication and cooperation between MNsure and outreach partners
    • increase marketplace awareness amongst difficult to engage populations through outreach and communications
    • distribute MNsure messages locally via targeted communication and outreach efforts
  • MNsure staff would like to hear from potential outreach partners about the types of communication and outreach messages, tools and toolkits, required to meet the needs of ethnic and demographic population groups who will use MNsure.

Participants will also have the opportunity during the call to pose questions to MNsure staff.

The webinar is presented and hosted by MNsure.

There is no pre-registration prior to the day of the event for the webinar. We encourage attendees to log-on 15 minutes prior to the webinar to register.

Registration is capped at 150 participants and is first come-first served.
