Financial Help

Most Minnesotans qualify for financial help. You may qualify for tax credits, a cost-sharing reduction, or for no-cost or low-cost coverage under Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare.

Minnesotans who do not currently receive advanced premium tax credits or get coverage through MA or MinnesotaCare qualify for a premium subsidy.

Cost-Sharing Reductions

Cost-sharing reductions (CSRs) are a form of financial help that help to reduce the out-of-pocket costs associated with private health insurance, such as deductibles, co-insurance and co-payments.
