ST. PAUL, Minn.—Minnesotans have until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 23, to enroll in coverage through MNsure. After that date, Minnesotans will only be able to enroll in private health insurance coverage through MNsure if they qualify for a /new-customers/enrollment-deadlines/special-enrollment/index.jspspecial enrollment period.

"Anyone with questions or who needs help enrolling should phone our Contact Center or reach out to a /help/find-assister/index.jspMNsure-certified assister,” said MNsure CEO Nate Clark. “We’re here to help. Don't wait until the last minute—get covered today!”

MNsure will have extended /help/contact-us/index.jspContact Center hours leading up to the deadline:
Saturday, December 21: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, December 22: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday, December 23: 8 a.m. to midnight

Those looking to confirm their enrollment status with MNsure can log in to their online account and /current-customers/manage-account/status/index.jspfollow these steps.

Please note, this deadline does not apply to Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare recipients or /new-customers/who-can-enroll/american-indians/index.jspmembers of federally recognized Indian tribes. MNsure's seventh open enrollment period runs November 1, 2019, through December 23, 2019. Individuals earning up to $49,960 a year, or a family of four earning up to $103,000 a year, could qualify for federal tax credits.
