How to Use this Estimator Tool

IMPORTANT! Read these instructions before using this tool.   

This tool will show your income as a percent of the federal poverty level (FPL).

  • If your FPL is at or below 400%: do not use the calculator below, use the MNsure plan comparison tool instead.
  • If your FPL is above 400%: Take note of the monthly "estimated financial help" value. This is the estimated tax credit you may receive under the new American Rescue Plan. Complete Steps 2 and 3 here.
    • Note: If you see $0 for the cost for a silver plan in the calculator results, be sure to follow steps 2 and 3 to complete your estimate.
